Would I be covered if I went to Walgreens for a flu shot?

In most cases: Yes! The Affordable Care Act requires that preventative care be covered by your insurance, regardless of your plan or carrier, and without a copay or coinsurance.

Keep in mind, however, that certain insurance companies require you to be in-network, so make sure to check with Walgreens & your insurance company to make sure they are considered in-network.

Even if Walgreens isn’t in your network, you can rest assured that you can still get a flu shot with participating provider.
