• November 1, 2026: Open enrollment begins. Apply for or change your coverage.
• December 15, 2026: Deadline to have coverage that begins on January 1, 2027.
• January 15, 2027: Deadline to have coverage that begins on February 1, 2027.

Options for getting covered outside of open enrollment include qualifying for a Special Enrollment Period (which can extend the time you can use the Marketplace), Medicaid, CHIP, short term health insurance, and other insurance types. Some state exchanges have different deadlines.
