What Happens If I Receive a Subsidy and Don’t File a Tax Return?

If you do not file a federal tax return for the year in which APTC were paid on their behalf, the applicable Marketplace will discontinue you future eligibility for APTC and CSRs to help pay for their Marketplace health insurance coverage.
