Is Alimony included as income when calculating my health insurance subsidy?

It depends – Divorces and separations finalized before January 1, 2019: Include alimony as income.

Divorces and separations finalized on or after January 1, 2019 don’t include alimony as income when calculating your Modified Adjusted Gross Income (MAGI) when estimating your subsidy.

However, child support payments are not included to calculate MAGI.
