I’m unhappy with my Medicare Advantage Plan. Can I change it?

Yes you can, if you’re unhappy with your Medicare Advantage or Part C plan you can change during the Open Enrollment period from January 1st – March 31st each year.

If you decide to switch Medicare Advantage or Medicare Advantage Prescription Drug Plans your new coverage will start the first day of the following month.

If you go back to Original Medicare it’s possible you might not be eligible for a Medicare Supplement Policy (Medigap) plan. Most carriers will underwrite clients based on health switching from a MA/MAPD plan to a Medicare Supplement.
