I’m on an employer plan and been enrolled in Medicare Parts & Part B for several years, can I enroll in Plan G without any underwriting?

If you are losing employer or individual coverage and enrolled in Medicare Part B longer than 6 months prior, you are not eligible for a Plan G or Plan N guaranteed issue (no underwriting). However, you are eligible for Plan A, B, C, and Plan F as guaranteed issue plans with no underwriting. Although only Plan F should be considered based on price and benefits.

You can still enroll in Plan G, but you first have to go through underwriting for approval.
