FIRST MONTH’S PREMIUM Submission Overview Chart

The premium payment for the first month of coverage for on- and off-exchange qualified health plans must be paid in order for applications to effectuate. Here are details on how and where your clients can pay.

This option is available during the online application process via the Retail Shopping Cart. If applicants choose this method, the automated recurring payment option is available and recommended to enable on-time payments and avoid disruptions.
