Can I Change My Plan After My Application is Submitted?

Yes, during open enrollment you can change your plan after submission as long as it is during the open enrollment period from November 1st – January 31st. The last day to change your plan for a January 1st start date is December 31st. If you change your plan selection after January 1st, the effective date of your new plan will be February 1st and your initial plan will still cover you for the month of January, unless you are given an exception for the insurance company.  

As a rule of thumb, the last application you submit during open enrollment will be the plan you are enrolled in.
